We are extremely mindful of the wellbeing of not just our pupils, but of you the families, parents and carers also. If you are struggling to cope and feeling overwhelmed you are not alone; you are important and it is ok to ask for help.
Under the 'Agencies for Support' folder is a PDF file for 'Support in the City - Portsmouth' which lists a variety of places in which you could seek support.
We will be adding additional ideas to our websites to support our pupils' physical, emotional and mental wellbeing as this is vitally important and we feel is a priority for our community.
New mental health guidance has been created for children and young people which offers clear and simple advice on accessing the right support at the right time.
You can find quick guides for easy reference and information on where, how and when your child can access support if they are experiencing a mental health issue, such as anxiety, depression or eating difficulties.
Visit www.portsmouth.gov.uk/SEMHguidance for more information.
